Nah I bit the bullet & just updated thru itunes so now my bb is @ 5.15 bleh.. Im on official carrier so I dont need the unlock just wanted it unlockable for resale value..

Must be something up with your itunes installation on the other computer then I guess.

I dunno I shut the pc down purged residual power fired it back up & now it works
I should learn to leave stuff alone when its working fine..
I was on 3.1.3 everything worked like I wanted it, figured Id try a newer iOS & now nothing but problems, after all this Im still getting the sim failure every time I reboot the phone I have to pull it to get signal..PITA cause I use a otterbox lol
This is the 1st time seeing this error is with 4.2.1

I have seen that issue with iPhone 4 a lot, not on the others though. Weird.
