Default iPhone crashed, now all SMS are gone
    Device info: iPhone4 16GB on AT&T, v4.1 greenpois0n.

Ever since I started using MarkThatMessage (Cydia), occasionally if I got a SMS while the SMS conversation with that person is open, the phone would crash and reboot into safe mode. Not all the time, just sometimes.

Today, it crashed, and when it rebooted, all teh SMS were gone!

Is there a way to recover these? Ive had some important messages since the phone was last backed up..

Here's what the SMS app looks like. Mind you, this SMS conversation was started after the phone crashed.

If I do a name search in "spotlight" heres what I get

If I click on one of those messages, itll take me to within the SMS conversation with Jesse (which is the only one that exists).

I compared the sms.db files on my phones and the iPhone4's file only shows today's messages.

crap i'm sorry, thought they might have been hidden or something.

if spotlight shows them though they still should be in your phone somewhere i would guess?=\

Syncing used to restore my text messages but I use the default text messaging program.

My parents didn't pay for my iPhone.

Hmmm I have Markthatmessage and it has given me no problems whatsoever. Most likely something conflicting with it.

A restore does not bring them back. Currently using the iOS SMS App and BiteSMS

Yeah. I ditched MTM too and it continued to crash every so often.
