Can't hear anything when making calls!! Help Very Confused!

First let me explain the problem,
The iphone4 is on 4.2.1 tmobile pwnagetool
When i go to make a phone call or recieve phone call the person im calling cant hear me at all and i cant hear them, switch from speakerphone to headphones, to actual phone call speaker, nothing changes still hear nothing. But when i make a skype call it works just fine, so that tells me its a software issue and not hardware.

I was jailbroken via limera1n on 4.0.2 using tmobile when the problem started about 2 weeks ago(a real P.I.T.A.)

Once PwnageTool was released for 4.2.1 yesterday i restored the phone and thought that would fix the problem, it didnt.

After that i went into the filesystem took a good MobilePhone.app from my GF's working iphone4 and replaced the assumingly broken MobilePhone.app on my phone, Still no luck.

I have no idea what to do. I've searched and searched but couldnt find a single post with a similar problem.

Any Help at all is greatly appreciated
i feel like my only option is to bring it to apple and have them replace it but then i would be out of a phone since i use tmobile and they would give me a iphone with 4.2.1 and upgraded baseband which isnt unlocked yet, so if i do that i wont even be able to text.

You might try avoiding a custom fw with the iPhone 4. Try this instead.

Open TinyUmbrella and click save SHSHs. Then run the TSS Server.

Shift+restore to a stock 4.2.1 fw (no worries, the TSS Server is going to preserve your baseband where it is now)

When you hit an error, run Redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 on your iPhone. When you're through jb and into the springboard, run greenpois0n on it.

Then you should be able to access your springboard and be untethered. With Redsn0w you already installed Cydia, so don't use the loader to do it again if it shows up. Just delete the loader from your springboard.

could it be my poorly cut sim card causing the trouble making phone calls but working to send SMS??? agghhhh so frustrating

Yes maybe you should try another SIM card. If that fails then it's your phone.

sim card didnt work hopefully 4.3 comes out soon so they can release the unlock and then i can bring the phone to apple
