I just did a fresh install of iOS 4.2.1 on my 3GS and set it up as a new device, after backing up user data for six apps using AppBackup. Unfortunately I wasn't insightful enough to get the data off before restoring, so now it's somewhere in the iTunes backup.

Is there any way to extract this? Or do I have to restore my phone from backup and do it manually that way? Bit of a pain as I'll have to restore again after that - want it set up as a new phone.
