Wi-Fi Stopped Working
I have a JB 3G, version 3.1.3, with 5.12.01 firmware. The phone will no longer connect to my home router, but my wife's iphone will so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the router. I've re-booted and re-synced with itunes. The wi-fi setting is turned on. When I select "other" networks it doesn't show the one from my neighbors house. Am I doing something wrong? Any help?

It can still be the router in some way, maybe your iPhone have an ip conflict with another device connected. Try to disconnect your router from the outlet for a minute then connect it again. That will renew your ip address. Try to connect after that.

It's a burnt out WIFI chip. There is no software fix for this.

Thanks, it turned out that the wi-fi connection was good. The wi-fi icon at the top of my screen is gone and I can't figure out what I might have done.
