Stream Audio to iPhone (while watching video on PC)

ok this is gonna sound kinda weird... but ive looked around and i cant seem to find anything like this.

What im looking for is a way to stream the audio of my movies to my iphone while i watch the video on my PC (hooked up to my HDTV)

basically turning the iphone into wireless headphones.

i know... i could just buy wireless headphones... but i mean... this would be cool right? lay in bed with your headphones plugged into your iphone, watching movies without waking the wife (or neighbors)

i know i can stream the whole thing to my phone via VLC, so i played around a bit with it, but can only figure out how to stream the whole thing, not split it between audio out to the iphone and video to the PC.

For music you can use the wifi2hifi app. For movies it wont work though - the delay is around 2 seconds.
