Apps suddenly end in middle of task

I have a jailbroken Iphone4 running iOS4.1. Recently while I am using an app, specifically bitesms, safari or modmyi, it will suddenly stop and I have to relaunch the app. This is happening with more frequency. Does anyone know why this is happening? Do I have to restore? Thanks in advance.

Same thing is happening to me particularly with biteSMS though. And I purchased the full license. I think I'm going to try turning on the ads and seeing if it works better that way. Before I purchased the full license, biteSMS was super laggy but at least it was stable.
I don't want to sound ungrateful but this greenpoison 4.2.1 jailbreak has definitely got it's problems. Ugh, Patience truly is a virtue.
