I want to know if there is a toggle or tweak on cydia that will allow me to lock my iphone and require a passcode the next time I wake it. I like to keep my passcode setting to auto enable after 10 minutes. Sometimes though like when I'm taking a shower at my gf's I want to passcode lock it with out waiting 10 minutes or manually going into settings and changing it to immediate and then switching it back later.
I know it is something that can be done because you can force it to lock from find iPhone on mobileme. It'd be nice if this option was added to the power menu in SBsettings or if you could just add a toggle for it.
Since posting this I've been thinking about alternatives.
One would be to power off/reboot my iphone which is very undesirable.
I could log into MobileMe and force a lock.
The simplest and fastest I came up with is to just respring. It is not the optimal solution I was looking for but it will work.
If anybody knows of a way to add the option please let me know. I don't understand why the SBsettings power menu has an option to lock your phone when that already has a preset dedicated hardware button that is much simpler/faster to hit but it doesn't have an option to pass code lock.
