Dear,

I am running iOS 4.1 on my iphone4 .... the new greenpoison able to do custom boot logo....

how can i change my boot logo without jailbreak it again?

cant find this on cydia.....i did search but all only themes....no tweaks or apps....

I had the same problem, you need to download a package that depends on it instead see screeny, although I'm currently having a problem where the only bootlogos showing up in settings>bootlogos are the stock apple one and the greenpois0n one

yes, we need dependency which included in the new greenpoison package....but is there anyway around without jailbreaking again? kind of trouble some to do jailbreak again and install all my apps, etc

Aah I'm sorry I didn't properly read, missing the fact your on 4.1..
There is no other way to do it unfortunately, just update, takes like half an hour. Plus this jailbreak is insanely fast, my phone now resprings in under 4 seconds.. Before it could take upto 10-15!

Yep, update to 4.2 in iTunes. Then close iTunes (VERY IMPORTANT) then run greenpois0n (as administrator if necessary) and your done

P.S it can take a while to download the 4.2ipsw

Not if you update, if you click restore then it will restore and update it

my modem firmware now is 02.10.04 will it be updated too? where can i find out about my baseband version? so this update from itunes will just update the os version?

Ah you never said you needed unlocks, don't update with iTunes if you want to preserve your baseband.. I don't know how to though, search it on here and you'll find plenty of information

im having the same problems, but i can however get bootlogos to load that i download from cydia, but the ones on modmyi show up under settings but dont load on the display.. im at a loss ..

apple boot logo for 4.2.1. it shows up in settings and then you can download more logos from cydia
