    Default iPhone password?

I bought an iPhone and after I fixed it there's a password on it.. How do I get passed it?

I don't want to restore to the latest is the firmware is old

How can I tell what the firmware is?

If you plug it into tiny and it can see the phone it will tell you what FW is installed.

As for the password ask the person you bought it off for it.

Sent from my iPhone using ModMyi

    He said he forgot :$

Can't I just do a custom restore so I won't mess up the baseband?

If I restore it will password be gone?

A restore will fix it. Do you know the phone's number? If you do, you can call it and when you end the call it should bring you to the Springboard. Go to settings and change the password. Hope that helps!

But you'll have to enter the old one

Plug your iPhone on your PC/Mac > Open your choice of an iPhone browser > Click "var" folder > Click "Keychains" folder > right click and delete the keychains.db > close your iPhone browser.

Restart your iPhone and see if it's working!

Will this work even if I don't have a jailbroken iPhone?

Although I haven't tried it like that, I believe it should work; It has nothing to do with Cydia or jailbreaking in general.

Try it again, and then empty your trash bin.

    That's all I got...
