    Default Usb ssh for mac

is it possible to use SSH but connect via usb instead of WIFI? I don't have a router in my house so that's the reason. Any help would be appreciated.

I still find it funny that people think SSH is what you call viewing files on your ipod or iphone. SSH is a secure login that gives you files browsing via GUI or CLI. What you are looking for is a usb file browser.
