    Default Mixing themes

Ive read that you can mix different themes together but have no idea where to start. I want a theme with lots of icons but apart from the stand out glass klart and ilumine there are few. So how do i use say the slider from one theme, the background from another and the icons from a few others? then I could have most of my apps with new icons. Thanks

    any help guys?

You might find some info on You Tube but it's pretty straight forward by just replacing the images from your main theme with the images you want to change, use same names and locations from your main theme.

Use "Icon Harvester" & "iFile" both from CydiaStore. With those 2 apps u can modify themes, use the icons u like & delete anything u don't like. Then apply the customized icons & tweaks u like above the theme your using. Winterboard works like hierarchy, enabling endless combinations. Hope this helps!

NP, when u install both of those apps u need to use iFile to locate var/mobile/library/summerboard/themes, tap blue arrow on right to change both the "group & owner" ownerships to "mobile." At same time add a checkmark to "write" in group & world section of access permissions. Then go back to icon harvester & create custom icons by tapping customize, after u see icons u like. Those icons will appear in winterboard with "customized" beside them, choose as many custom icons as u like. For the icons u don't like because of the hierarchy of winterboard, just go back to the var/mobile/library/summerboard/themes & locate the custom icon folders u just created. Delete any icons that u don't like, then the hierarchy of the custom themes does not matter if you have deleted the icons u dont like. As long as they're above ur main theme, then all is good in da' hood!

Also use "Bytafont" to change fonts, "Icon Renamer & Icon Label Color Pack." With those 3, u can change the look of ur homescreen more. Myself, I use "Light Blue icon labels" with "yikes" font & with "icon Renamer" change the apps names to wtvr looks good! Including changing the icon names to "~~~~~~~~" or "---------------" or "++++++++++" if u change all the icon names in a horizontal row, it looks good IMO. After u get used to the new icons, the name underneath is not necessary but with icon renamer, & color pack it's another way to customize ur homescreen. For the statusbar, u can add color to it's icons by using "color status bar icons for iOS 4" &/or "iOS 4 colored apple signal & wifi bars" again switching the hierarchy in winterboard to ur liking. There's many slider themes u can use, along with "Entriegal Killer, aka Slide To Unlock Killer" in the "touch-mania.com" repo u can change the "Slide To Unlock" text to anything that fits! If u get bored with the sliders, try "AndroidLockXT" instead of lockscreen password & slider u draw a puzzle of ur choosing. When pattern is drawn correctly, it's like sliding & entering password all in one. Have fun, personalizing & adding color to the otherwise boring & bland home/lockscreens!
