Some of the default repos are down right now which can cause this issue. Just give it some time.

but what about the apple logo and loading bar appearing when i try add a repo? that well weired. It has been like this about a week now. Cydia is totaly empty. so every single default repo is down at the same time? that seems a little strange to me.

That sometimes happens when you first run cydia before you install the necessary updates. Not every repo is down, but all it takes is one faulty one to bring them all down. You would have to go into the filesystem to rename the two that are down to get the others working.

Just navigate to etc/apt/sources The two that are are down right now are big boss and modmyi I believe. Just rename those two sources adding a .old at the end. Then go into cydia and refresh sources. Once the repos are back up you will have to go back in and rename them back to what they originally where (take off the .old).

There may be remnants of those repos still causing it. I would try a fresh restore then try again.

It is best to set up as new but you can try restoring from backup first. If you setup as new you can just sync your apple apps back from itunes after.
