Restore my iPod but want to keep files?

Hi. I have to restore my ipod because Im taking it into the apple store to get the headphone jack replaced. They dont fix jailbroken iPods. I was planning on just jailbreaking it again after. But I was wondering if theyres anyway to back up some of my items like music and photos. I have cydia if that matters. Thanks

If your iPod is sync'd with iTunes then theyre already backed up right?
