I'm not sure how it happened, but this morning I used my phone for a call, then minimized "phone" and noticed there were three new app icons...

"Field Test", and two others that I do not know what they are. I got stupid and opened field tester rather than taking a screen shot.

I have googled, and searched here (to find countless theme threads) but the furthest I get is a list of "hidden" features. Features that almost everyone knows about already.

What are these hidden apps (I know what "Field Test" is, you can activate that with a call-code from the phone app.

    What are the other two?
    What do they do?
If useful, how do we unhide them?

    Thanks to anyone who helps.

Here's a screen of "Field Test" open in the multi-task bar.

This happens once in a few, just a springboard crash really , especially if u have anything that messes with mobile substrate. A respiring will take care of that

Yeah. The icons re-hid as soon as I minimized Field Test. So I was just wondering... Can we "unhide" them permanently?

Bump. Anyone know how to make these show up 24/7? I'd like to be able to see them...

    I was on 4.1 JB-GP un-tethered.
Now on 4.2.1 JB-GP un-tethered, if that affects things.

I know this thread is a little old, but off the top of my head two of the other "hidden" apps are AdSheet and iOSdiagnostics. The only way I know to add these is to use SBSettings. You can add these hidden apps to the SBSettings dock. But these have absolutely no use for 99% (or more) of users.
