Anyone Try VoiceActivator Yet?
I just want some opinions before I spend $5. The last thing I bought was 3DBoard, and that was a total waste.

I'm using it with Activator and such, but trying to figure out how to enter text with it. Anyone figure that one out yet?

I have also just installed and would like a help link for some instruction on this "not" so simple to "setup" app.
Having a frequently used commands setup thread would be very useful and IMO, necessary.
I use Vlingo now but have paid for and would like VoiceActivator to take over. Does anyone know the command line to activate texting and facebook status updates?
I see this as an outstanding app but need some help to get her rockin'

I do not believe this app is designed to dictate speech to text.

All of the blog articles I've found about it list one of it's features as:
- Enter and speak text

Works great, I wish there was away around having to hold the home button though.

Is this app actually working for anybody? I cannot get a single command to work. I specifically tried making cydia and google. I also made the google command exactly as it was shown in the youtube video demonstrating this, yet no commands work. I purchased this, sent an e-mail to him, and even tweeted chpwn with no response.
Any ideas?

I found that inputing commands phonetically works best.

I would assume so, however, google is pretty much spelled as it sounds. I literally can't get a single command to work.
I also do not have an accent or anything like that that would cause this to not recognize. I am able to speak clearlyLast edited by guessswho; 02-03-2011 at 12:38 PM.

to get google or other web pages to work this is what i did
Add Command
Command-Google
Action-URL
Configure-http://google.com
my testing has proved so far that without the http:// it will not work.
Are you using Activator to launch apps?Last edited by brianmarocco; 02-03-2011 at 12:40 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I just set it up exactly the same as you to test for google and it still is not working. It just keeps repeating the default message it has when it doesn't recognize a command.

Thanks for the try, I just don't understand why this isn't working. I don't have an accent, I speak clearly. For Apple commands it works fine. Just nothing works when trying to use this.

Okay...I used the example given for setting up Google...this is just fine to get to Google quickly but with Vlingo, I can say "Search" and what I want to search for and it does the search. How do we do this for VoiceActivator???
I don't want to just open up a webpage or app...I want it to do the search or type the text or write the email like vlingo does. It is starting to look like I wasted $5 because so far vlingo is FAR FAR superior.
