why would you vid cap an iPhone screen? if you are playing a vid, its full screen anyways. are you trying to copy something from youtube or something?

on the same topic you can take pics of your screen by pressing home+power at the same time. the screenshot will be in your photos folder
60% of the time, it works every time.

No I'm not trying to copy a vid from YT. I could do that on my PC anyways. I just want to capture some effects that a still image doesn't demonstrate.

You can record your iPhone screen from your Windows PC. You will need VNC server software on your iPod. The only one I know of at this time is Veency, and it requires Cydia.

On your PC, use TightVNC, and on your iPhone install the software named 'Veency' and run it.

Run TightVNC on your PC and enter the IP address of your iPhone. If you don't know the IP address on your iPhone, open a browser on your iPhone and go to the url: My PC Info.

Once you connect, you will have your iPhone screen displayed on your PC. To make a video tutorial of your iPhone application, I recommend using My Screen Recorder. If you're going to include verbal directions in your video tutorial, it allows you to record both the audio from a microphone and the PC speakers at the same time. You can download My Screen Recorder here: http://www.deskshare.com/screen-recorder.aspx"
