iPhone 3G tries to sync to nonexistent devices, can't make calls, can't run apps
Hi Modmyi,
New here. Used search but didn't come up with anything...
My jackass friend through water on me while I was sleeping. He didn't know my iphone was in my bed with me and it got wet.
The phone turns on fine and works. But when I try to run apps, a message come up, something like this: "The device the iphone is trying to sync with is not supported and continuing to sync may cause feedback with the playback device". Not verbatim, but basically what it said.
Also calls fail, but no message is displayed. Texting works fine. I have not tried wifi, but I assume it is not going to work. The message randomly comes up randomly and interrupts things, causing them to close.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Right now the phone has been taken apart (Screen off, SIM out) with silicone packets resting on it.
Thanks
