Ok, this is going to sound ridiculous, but here goes. A couple weeks ago, I found an iPhone4 at our local batting cages. I turned it into lost and found and they had me leave my phone number with them, in case no one claimed it. Of course I blew it off, thinking that someone would come looking for it and claim it or one of the workers would "claim it". As it turns out, no came back for it and they called me today to come and get it! Before picking it up, I went to the AT&T store to get the iPhone4 sim card, considering I have a Spirit jailbroken 3.13 3GS(which I no doubt love). Here's where I run into an issue. Because the iPhone4 has been activated under a different number than the new sim I put in, they had to completely render my old sim useles. So, no service. No problem, right? Not so fast. Everytime I try to restore the iPhone4, I get the same 3194 error. Can anyone help with this? I really need my phone, as I don't have a house phone and the internet is my only means of communication right now...
Could be possibly they reported it to Apple who has blocked the phone from being restored. I would check with Apple to make sure that is not the case. They may have reported it to Apple because they might have not known where they left it.
Ok. Apple says it hasn't been reported stolen or lost. I've tried to restore fimwares 4.0, 4.01, 4.02, 4.1 and 4.1. All of them come back with the same 3194 error code EXCEPT 4.1.2. 4.1.2 gets to the halfway point of installation and then I get error code 10. Anyone?
Brought it into AT&T and they hooked it up to their "special" computer in the back and were able to restore it! Oh yeah. :-) Thanks for all the help, though!
