Cant enter DFU Mode....

Hey so I have the iPod Touch 3g 8 gig 4.2.1 (8C148) MC086LL model, and I have been trying for 4+ hours trying to enter DFU mode...I have followed almost EVERY tutorial from iClarified to tons of forums to manyyyy youtube videos...None of them helped. I have tried with my iPod turned on, turned off, with iTunes off and on...Nothing...

All I want to do is jailbreak it with redsn0w v.9.6b6 using the firmware iPod3,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore from felix...

I got the USB plugged in and everything and I got my volume up, but I hear two chimes. First there is one chime when I'm on the last step at around 5 seconds on redsn0w and then shortly after (like 3 seconds), another chime comes in. My screen never turns black though.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS:
1. ok so I pressed the power button for three seconds on the apple icon, and then when I press the power+home button for about 2-4 seconds, the apple icon goes away and the screen turns black on the second step of redsn0w (where you have to hold both the power+home buttons, but THEN about 2-4 seconds later, the apple icons comes back and boots normally...so redsn0w doesn't detect it...

The only method i found :

I had to do it several times before i have succes in DFU...

I had success when it was open, but sometime you have to shutdown!!!

Press power+home till black screen (without apple logo), release power and keep home for 10 seconds and release it. If you are in DFU, you have a black screen, if not....

Doesn't work =/, the apple icon reappears after the screen turns black..
