There are a few people on here with access to custom firmware or (but strongly not recomended) you could use a torrent site and when you have 1, go into itunes, hold shift and press restore and locate the custom firmware.

Google for the custom firmware. We can no longer supply direction to these as they are copyright material.

Right, we are now restricting to Google searching or teaching people how to create their own.

Who's rude? If you're referring to me, then I'm sorry you took it that way. A new rule has been established that we don't publicly condone distribution of custom firmwares any longer. This is due to realizing that distributing this material is actually not a good idea for MMi.
So, thanks for your cooperation and don't take things too personally, I'm just making sure things stay in order.

I'm not sure who's giving him a hard time. I simply suggested that we cannot provide custom firmwares but we can teach how to create them. But finding one that's already made is as easy as a Google search, which is what needs to be done at this point.
I'm not sure where people are getting the idea that I'm being mean. I'm just making sure no custom firmwares are distributed through MMi because a user stated that it can be done. I was simply announcing the new regulations that it is no longer part of our practices.
