new iphone 4 need a sim?

I bought a iphone 4 off ebay it came with a att sim. Can i use that sim or do i need to buy a new one? If i can use the one it came with can i just call ATT to use it?

If you have a normal sim and you want a micro sim. Just write "cut sim card" on google. You can do it by yourself. I did it 4 weeks ago. Just be patient.

Not sure what you're asking. Do you want to use the SIM to activate the phone or use it as your actual SIM card for service? If so, you'll probably need to get a new one from the carrier you plan to use.

I wanted to use the sim it came with for my service. It is a ATT sim and ATT is who i will be using it has there number in the sim though.

And use the one from the 3GS? The phone came with a micro att sim.

Yes. I cut my 3GS sim card and use it in my new i4 for over 1 month now without any problem.
