    Will AT&T charge me for it? Because I want to tether my iPhone to my iPad

    As long as you're grandfathered in with the old unlimited data plan, you're good to go.

    No I have the 2g cap but I only wanna use the tether for my iPad

    Then it all really depends on how much internet you actually use. Obviously downloading big files will mess it up, but if you just browse the internet, you should be good to go...

    i think he is asking if he will be charged a tethering fee, not will he go over his gb cap.

    i have been using mywi a lot for my laptop & ipad and havn't noticed any extra charges. i also have an unlimited plan, but i dont think that has anything to do with tethering fees

    With a 2GB cap I don't think they care. If you use it and it gets a tad excessive, it's $10 per 1GB so it's your money anyway. They only get anal about unlimited data users because obviously they don't pay extra, but even then they dont do much to that either.
