Can't download apps

I have a 3GS, using OS 3.1.3. A couple of days ago, I tried downloading an app, my phone froze for a sec then restarted and a message came up saying that saurik didn't cause this problem, it prevented a problem, then it wants me to restart the winterboard, which I have to try a couple of times before it works and I still don't have the app

Were you trying to download a cracked app? If so you will not get or receive any help and this thread will be closed.

It's going into safe mode. mobile substrate does this when an error is encountered. Which app from cydia did u download last before this started happening? Find out, remove it and see if u still have the problem.
