OK, seems like I have a simple problem and no solution as of yet.

I have an iphone 3gs which i would like to be able to mount somewhere in my room then be able to control it remotely, preview what the camera is focused on, and click the record button.

I have a set up that will allow control, veency/vnc viewer, but the video does not come through so I can't see what I'm shooting. I have pocketcam set up, which seems to stream the video great, but no control over the phone.

Right now I'm using a combination of both of them to create one horrendous experience.

Any help is appreciated. I just want to sit at my desk and record some acoustic guitar youtubes. Veency worked one time video and all for about 10 minutes, then never again.
