    Default Tried Everything HELP!!!

This is another cry for help!!!!

I have had a jailbroken iPhone, 3g, for nearly 2 years. Jailbroken for 18months. No problems. Today I bought a new 32g iPhone 4 (4.2.1), got it home and jumped straight into using redsnow 0.9.7b6 to jailbreak the phone. All went well even tho it is a tethered jailbreak. Cydia had appeared and the phone was functioning. So I started downloading sources (all good) then started loading cydia apps. Instead of loading one at a time I queued about 12 then proceeded to install them. About half way through the phone went to the black screen with the apple logo. Now its is stuck in recovery? mode (pic of USB cable ----> itunes).
No chance for cydia to get the SHSH blobs

I've used TinyUmbrella to kick it out of recovery but it goes straight back in. Ive tried redsnow again but it gets stuck at the activation stage, I have used redsnow to put it into DFU. Downloaded and installed itunes on my vmware (win 7) and tried to restore it there. Various other programs in windows to get it out of recovery. Reloaded itunes on my iMac....no change.
I've accessed the hosts file and removed gs.apple.com....

First error to rear its ugly head was 1013 now its 1611. It is currently on the restore screen stuck at 60% complete and has been there for maybe 30minutes now.

What else can I do????? Please help.

Open tiny umbrella, click on advanced. Deselect the box that says set hosts to cydia on exit. Then close tiny umbrella and try to restore again. Once restored if you want to jailbreak use redsnow 0.9.6rc8. The one you were using was a beta redsnow.

    Yep I've done that too

Managed to get the phone into DFU(black screen) and tried to restore. It gets stuck in the same place. The only time I get an error now is if I open TU (error 1013)

Yes. The icon is in the top bar, I cannot remove this. I have searched and removed evrything else related to wifi sync.

EDIT: Nevermind the last comment. Your question prompted me to look harder. It is now removed. Gunna try another restore.

    Thanks

That is what is causing the issue then. You need to fully uninstall it before you can restore.
