    Default How does digitizer work?

Just a quick one that's been buggin me how does it work? It's not pressure sensitive so is it heat sensitive? If it's heat sensitive that would explain why ya cant use a stylus or gloves if it's not why can't you?

It is called a capacitive touch screen. It works off of capacitive resistance from your body, your body puts off a small dc charge the digitizer picks this up. The other type of touch screens that stylus work with are called resistive touch screens, they sense pressure or have a infrared break sensor.
