Rick R: Unfortunately we don't have all the rules as far as Verizon goes. You would need to check with Verizon on or after Feb 10th for more info on that.

Hardware is different go to engadget and read the articles or any other site like that the hardware is slightly different and has a completely different antenna for a different frequency.

Yea hardware is different because the radio transmittors are different. Not sure why that guy wasn't breifed but he is wrong.

You would have to alter the hardware like everyone else said to get it to work on Verizon. Just because they're both iPhones doesn't mean it'll be able to get on the CDMA network.

Edit: the customer rep needs to be updated. Either he doesn't know the diff between GSM and CDMA, or he just wants to lead you to believe it is possible and cancel AT&T.

@Wes, I hate AT&T customer service but I loved T-Mo when I had it. If iPhone ever went to T-Mo I'd switch back in a heartbeat.
