Iphone 4 volume problems??
I have a iphone 4 jb/ul on 4.1 I have been using for a few weeks now with no problems. Today I had maded a call and could not hear very well, the volume is all the way up and I can barely hear. The receiver can hear fine and If I put on speaker or use a headset it is fine as well. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? What did you do to fix the problem?
thank you for your help and support

I would suggest restoring to see if that will fix it.

If a restore doesnt fix it then it is probably a hardware issue.

You're jailbroken right? Go into cydia and at the top see if it says shsh: 4.1

That may be a problem. Maybe just maybe they didn't save yet and are with tiny umbrella. Download TU and click save my shsh and see what that says. If it says 4.2.1 only then that is the only firmware you can restore to. The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella

If you try and restore then you will be forced to 4.2.1

I haven't seen this problem either. Did you try uninstalling ultrasn0w and then reinstalling it. It is a longshot but it might work.

Ok, I am sooooo sorry! but I (shannyk) have been posting to the wrong forum, I have a problem with icons not showing up in themes for iphone 4, and when I clicked check latest post, I somehow accidentally went here, I dont have a problem with volume, that was the original poster, I am so sorry to have messed up his posts and not helped solve his problem! I am new at forums so please forgive me!

It's okay. I thought something was going on. Hopefully the op can see the posts I said and just ask from there. Lol
Oh and I think your problem is because the themes may not be compatible with 4.1.Last edited by Stray; 01-09-2011 at 07:13 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I thought I just posted an apology? but now cant find it, as I said I am new to forums and I am so sorry but I have been posting in the wrong forum. I have a problem with icons not working with iphone 4 themes (they just dont change)
when I went to most recent post, I somehow got confused and ended up posting to this forum instead, and I am very sorry to have messed up the original posters question and replies!
see how confused I am?
again sorry!Last edited by shannyk; 01-09-2011 at 07:16 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
