Default Changing iPhone name in iTunes

If I wanted to change the name of my iPhone 3Gs in iTunes would that cause any problems to saved SHSH for restore or to any of my apps/media specifically with iTunes being able to recognize it?

Just wondered before I attempt this.

    Thanks

To answer your question, no it won't affect anything. All the things you just mentioned are tied into your unique identifier on the Logic Board of your phone.

Thanks frostbite, that is exactly what concerned me--phone identity vs phone name.
    Thanks so much!

There is a unhidden advantage. iTunes backups are stored by the name. Changing the name (and sync/backup) creates a new backup set and retains the old. Good for restoring with different installed sets.
