    Default Charge iPhone faster

ASUS Ai Charger - Quick charge your iPod, iPhone and even iPad!

    Just found it.

Usually my iPhone charges at a rate 280-350mAh with my computer, now I install this, and I use my iPhone to check, and it charges at a rate of 640-680mAh.

My motherboard is a ASUS P5QPL-AM. This does not require a ASUS Motherboard!

I take no responsibility if you mess up your computer or BSOD with this.

IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT THE BSOD

I'd recommend first installing CCleaner. Then you can install the program...I guess you could it install with Admin rights (I didn't, but I'm already admin). So if you do get a BSOD, go into Safe Mode, uninstall the Asus Ai Charger, then use CCleaner to clean up the Registry and wipe remaining traces of it.

Installed it and it's charging at 300-642 which is about 2-4 times more (I think it was originally ~150?)

    Nice.

Before mine was at around 300. Now it's at 650.

    That's 2x more.

BTW, I think it's the same rate as if you plugged it into the outlet and charged it, I'm reading 655 from the wall. I guess this is just supposed to be more convenient as you sync and charge from the pc.

I guess we don't have to spend that extra $20-30?

How do you know your recharge rate?

tried 2 PC's (non Asus), did not work.

asus EEE netbook got about 50% more juice

However...I did realize that when using a crappy sync cable, the phone charges SLOWER off the same USB port. Switching to the OEM Apple Cable doubled the charging rate!
