iPhone 3g bluetooth working, but grey Wifi

hey guys. Not sure if this is the right area, but last night i did a hard reset on my 3G(4.1)cause it seemed alittle sluggish and when it turned back on my wifi was greyed out, but bluetooth and everything else works fine. this phone was not jailbroken or updated recently.

been doing a lot of forum research on this but everything i read says no wifi and bluetooth..


i reseted the network many times, restored 3 times, updated to 4.2.1, and jailbroke with redsn0w trying to get it working again..

any suggestions would be great!

Anything else happen? If a restore (3 times) doesn't help, it's looking like a hardware problem. Are you sure you're trying to access the right network & password?

yeah, the wifi under settings is just grey. it won't let you open it to select any network... i didn't notice it till last night i was changing my SSID on my router and then setting my new passwords on my laptop and three iphones..

on this iphone i noticed it wasn't finding any network, so i did a hard reset and it greyed out..

Hard reset? 5-10(?) sec power+bome button, or Settings/General/Reset/Erase All Content and Settings? Neither are great, but the later is fatal and requires a restore.
