Jailbroken iPhone: Getting Weird Notifications...

Hi everyone,

So I have a jailbroken 3gs running 4.1 and it is unlocked with ultrasn0w to the t-mobile network. I have been getting pop-up notifications from the official twitter and facebook apps from people who I have never heard of, never interacted with, and when I go on the web using my PC I don't see them anywhere (i.e. one said "Anita Gomez commented on your status," and she--assuming she even is a real user-- hadn't). I was wondering if this is a virus, or just a bug, or something else. It's not bothering me but if it is something like a virus I'd like to fix it. I don't even know if there are viruses for iPhone. Anyway, anyone had this experience?

EDIT: Attached is a screenshot. It looks weird and choppy because I tried to blur out all my smses...(happened to be in the msging app when it popped up). I am not any of the users mentioned in this tweet...hence my confusion.
