iTunes error 13014

Turn off genius and reboot your computer, do you have itunes library on a network drive by chance?

iTunes will not load at all. I just installed 10.0.1 from 9.1 and I still get that error. So I don't know if that would work.

Try deleting these two files in your itunes library folder

iTunes Library Genius.itdb
iTunes Library Genius.itdb-journal

The only one of those files I had was the iTunes library genius.itdb and When I try to delete it I get error access is denied. Please advise?

You need to have administrator privileges on your computer. Are you using a admin account?

Thank you, you just confirmed my suspicion. This thing has a hijacker. I'm just going to reformat and be done with it.

Are you saying something took control of your admn account?
