Backgrounder not working with mail plugin

I have lockinfo on my 3GS, I was also using backgrounder but lately backgrounder has been putting my phone into safe mode. Crash reporter says it is backgrounder and my mail plugin causing the problem. Any thoughts???

When you say Lately, what have you done to change what you was doing before ?

I haven't changed anything. I think maybe lockinfo and backgrounder just aren't compatible. When I take lockinfo off it works fine but if I have to choose between the two I will keep lockinfo.
