Default Can anyone explain why the "Notes" app is so crappy?

I'm an idiot for continuing to use it.

It keeps losing changes I make to existing notes. And in a completely nonsensical and frustrating fashion.

I am certain it has something to do with online synchronization, as I see the "connecting" indicator spinning every time I start up notes (which is another very frustrating topic: I didn't notice that until I racked up $80 in roaming data usage while using NOTES internationally - retarded that what should be a local Notes program uses Cellular Data without asking me) and when I turn off Data connections, my notes all stay reliable.

    The symptoms are thus:

    1. Create note A
    2. Return some time later to note A, make changes to A creating A.rev1
    3. Return some time later to note A.rev1, only to find that my iPhone has reverted to A and I've lost all .rev1 changes
    4. Frustrated, try to remember all .rev1 changes and new stuff I wanted to add, change A to create A.rev2
    5. Just to be sure, close Notes, reboot iPhone, open and reopen Notes several times to confirm that A.rev2 is sticking
    6. Satisfied
    7. Return some time later to A.rev2, only to find that my iPhone is showing A.rev1. Now I've lost all the new stuff I put in A.rev2. WTF
    8. Make changes to A.rev1 creating A.rev1.1. Save changes and confirm that it is sticking.
    9. Come back later and find that my phone has returned to A.rev2. WTF
    10. For the final kick in the balls, my phone will show me my original A.

I've confirmed that this is not an issue of good Data connectivity, I always confirm I have good Data signal in all cases, only that it has something to do with (piss poor) synchronization.

I also know it is nothing to do with the "accounts" I have in Notes. I always view my Notes list via the "All Notes" category, and viewing the categories for each account does not reveal that there are multiple versions of the same note.
