Quick query regarding carrier loocks. How does the factory carrier lock actually work? I know we use software unlocks in the form of ultrasnow, but what differs in a factory unlocked and locked phone? is it hardware or software? and if its software could this be replicated? any ideas?
Is software and no cant be replicated it. It goes with the iphone serial number when itunes reads its serial number it does not lock it to a carrier. It cant be replicated at least legally. Since replicating a products serial number or imei is highly illegal.
