    Default How do I uncompress & play AVI on IP4

    I've d/l a movies file from a torrent site on my Iphone but the sample avi wont play and I have no idea how to uncompress the zip files for the movie. Is it possible to d/l and uncompress & watch these sort of files just by using the iphone, or is a pc/mac required to convert the file to compatible IP4 format which is what I was trying to avoid?

    You need a pc or mac to do it and your phone as to be jailbroken

    You can uncompress using ifile from Cydia and you can watch the .avi using VLC for iOS. You don't need a computer.
