Transparent doc (issue)

hello ya`ll,

i`m sure u know that with ios4 the transparent doc doesnt work with winterboard well it doesn`t for me anyway. the icons are not in order.

can someone send me a self made transparent doc file please??? i could use then that and ssh that into the theme i am using that would resolve my issue.

it would be great if someone can help me out thanks in advance people

These are my old 3.1.3 transparent dock images. Works for me
FYI: I use SBDockBG.png for my 3GS on 4.2.1.

BTW: I have no idea where (or when) I acquired these, but they were not created by me

it worked great, one more thing.. i`m using a wallpaper with shelves and i want the bottom shelf for the dock to be still there, with the transparent dock u gave me its just blank which is cool but is there a transparent dock which just deletes the winterboard one but not the wallpaper one?? if u know what i mean

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the reflective dock, SBDockMask.png and SBDockMask-72.png?

i am using a shelf wallpaper ... and with the transparent dock the bottom of my shelf wallpaper is gone (just black) but i want it there. my idea is to create a dock.png with my wallpaper unless there is another way but i have no clue how to do that.

^Not sure either. Over the years, I downloaded and viewed hundreds of themes. From these, I extracted my favorite images & tweaks for my own use. Some I install manually (or a deb), some are part of a Winterboard theme, and some .... well I don't remember why I have 'em (haha) .

You could always just go into

/System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app/

Drag the Dock PNG out and just make it inadvisable or blank in PS and the drop it back in and it should be transparent.

hui... u lost me there i understand till drag dock.png out but the rest dont know what u mean or how? can u explain it for idiots like me? hehe and why is the winterboard transparent dock just not working on ios4 or is it just my phone? would make things so easy

I renamed these images and created zero-length replacements. No reflective dock

An easier way would be SSH to where he said, then just replace the dock with a blank one

As mentioned above, just SSh into your phone to where i told you and just drop the .PNG in there that Mez gave you. I would copy the old one so you can replace it in the future
