Alcohol is good to use if you have something sticky on it.
high percentage tho and just a little it wont hurt the internals that way.

NO! do not use water. If you have an old tshirt or something use that just make sure its soft. Paper towels can scratch the screen.

Because you have water sensors not alcohol sensors. Alcohol does not hurt electronics you actually can use alcohol to clean a water damaged board and it wont turn white stickers red.
Water if you even get a little drop,lets say down your headphone jack and it turns the sticker red you just voided you warranty.

That's what I use, and a micro fiber towel, you one can buy anywhere, Walmart, any auto parts store, I've even seen them in grocery stores.
