    Default I got this 3gs 2 weeks ago..

    I got this 3gs from somebody i bought it from and he used the erase all content and media so i cant go back to 4.1 or lower..
    i upgraded the baseband to the ipad 6.15.00 and im trying to have a clean restore but i cant because my comp isnt recognizing it anymore and everytime i plug it in my system try say it cant be installed or something like that... anybody know how to fix?

    Proper grammar, and complete error messages, go a LONG way online.



    Hint: Read the Dev-Team blog about the 06.15 BaseBand, but i'm sure you've already done that

    Check your SHSHs with TinyUmbrella. If you have SHSHs for 4.1, you may restore to stock 4.1 and rejailbreak. You restore to stock 4.1, receive error 1015, then kick it out of recovery with TinyUmbrella.

    If you don't have any SHSHs, you have to go find a custom 4.2.1 ipsw and restore to it. The custom fw must not include the iPad baseband upgrade. If you have a Mac you can make the custom firmware yourself with PwnageTool.

    The problem is that iTunes isn't recognizing the iPhone.

    You would set it into Recovery Mode or DFU mode for iTunes to recognize it

    Now its recognizing it somehow but would somebody please send me a cfw of 4.2.1 (without BB) for 3GS please?
