Default Any one know how to fix this? IPHONE

I phone 3g. working fine yesterday, now when i plug it in to charge i dont see the battery logo that usually shows. worse than that it doesnt seem to charge from the wall or computer, and itunes is not detecting the iphone. When plugged in any where the white apple logo will show for 20 seconds and then turn off..

on top of that my HOME button does not work i need to replace it so DFU mode would not work?

I would try to restore my phone but since i tunes doesnt detect it, any other ideas on how to manually restore it?

    any suggestions would help thanks

If it isnt booting up and not going into recovery or dfu with a broken home button then you may be out of luck.

recboot cannot put a phone in dfu, just recovery. It also requires the phone to be booted up first before it can kick it into recovery.

Should probably replace the home button then. You could try Blackra1n, it might be able to push the device into recovery mode so that you can restore, but I don't know how well that would work. You could try, but if not you'll want to fix that home button.
