Doing a jb on a mac for the first time???

Ok so I just got a new macbook air, this is my first mac ever and only my second time ever using a modern apple computer with OSX. So as you may already understand some things are not quite making sense for me right now being a long time windows user....lol

Before I get started here I wanna say this MacBook Air is an absolute work of art. I am in love with it and it hasn't even been 24 hours yet. Also if you have any OSX basic user tips for me I would greatly appreciate it.

Ok so my issue is I have downloaded pwnage tool but I can't figure out how to open it. I found a .rar extractor but after I ran it when I click the file it mad, nothing happens. So what is it I am missing here?

You should be able to find the folder in your downloads folder click it then it should be pwnagetool icon open it the you should be set no Rar. Anything
