Overriding Overheat Warning?
I can't stand when my phone overheats. If I need to make a call besides a stupid unneeded 911 call, is there some way to override the overheat message?
If you're going to say keep the iPhone in a cool spot, please don't answer. I'm looking for some kind of Cydia mod to get rid of this stupid message.
Any help would be nice.

The problem is that I use a car mount for my iPhone. Where it is mounted, the heat can get inside the phone, and if I use my GPS, it makes the iPhone overheat. I'm looking to make it so the message never shows up. Being in an unfamiliar city, having a GPS is a must, and I hate having to turn the A/C on in the winter time to be able to use the phone again.

Gps cost about a 100$ for a tom tom, now your iphone cost allot more than that to have it break from overheating hardware failure. Why not just buy a GPS?

Yeah, it's showing the message for a reason bro. If there was a way to disable you'll just end up damaging your phone because you wouldn't know it's overheating. GPS's don't have a monthly or yearly subscription other then some optional stuff.

xGPS is available on Cydia and free
Not the best at navigation but excellent maps and tracking. Used it worldwide for years.

there is something wrong with your phone. you don't put a sticker over a red blinking light that says "Anti-matter core breach imminent!"
however if you phone is cool to the touch, i dunno. even in summer with the gps on it should NEVER shut down from overheating. well maybe if you left it in the sun for a few hours and drove around with the windows up and the heat on...60% of the time, it works every time.
