Hi i have an iphone 3g. it was on 4.2.1 ( 5.13.04 firmware ) and i jsut downgraded to 3.1.3. is SAM necessary to make my phone function to its best? Thanks!
I suspect the answer is no, since I believe it's only 4.x firmwares that constantly check for a valid activation (which is what SAM is supposed to help with). Granted, having an "official" activation is always nice, but it's not until 4.x that hacktivation has a serious effect on battery life.
