How do I restore 3G and keep IOS 3.0

I am selling my iPhone 3G (IOS 3.0/F.W. 04.26.08/JB/Unlocked)and I need to clear my personal stuff off it.

How do I restore and keep the software and firmware.

I know I'll need to re-Jailbreak it but will I lose the unlock also?

As long as you have your SHSH on file with Cydia you can restore to anything down to 3.0

Download Tiny and click save my SHSH and it will tell you what you have saved ?

Then i would restore to 3.1.3 (best firmwear for the 3G) and jailbreak with Jailbreakme.com and unlock with ultrasn0w

Dont forget to set up as a new phone after the restore and all your data will be gone

Not really needing to change from 3.0 to 3.1.3, no problems with 3.0 and I don't need to take any chances on screwing up.

No if you have your SHSH blobs saved with Cydia thats fine, i Am saying that when you download Tiny if you click save my SHSH it will tell you what you have saved with Cydia.

And as long as you have 3.0 saved you can restore back to 3.0 (connect phone to itunes and click Shift+Restore) not update and you will be able to point itunes to the firmwear you have.

In short you should

1. Download Tiny and click save my SHSH and it will tell you what you have and also save them on you PC.

2. Down load a stock 3.0 firmwear for your 3G (download section on here)

3. Connect phone to PC and click run Tiny

4. Click Shift+Restore in itunes and this will enable you to select the firmwear you have downloaded.

5. Jailbreak and unlock again.

Or you could just delete everything off your phone that you dont want to share, remembering to sign out of apps store and get iwipe from cydia which totally over writes any delete info, This would be easier, as there is always a chance anyone could screw up with a new restore and jailbreak.

I thought the iPhone 3G didn't need SHSH files for iOS 3.x and below...
