redsn0w 0.9.6b6 and iphone3g

ok so im doing a friends 3g (unlocking it) and i used the new redsn0w to implement the ipad bb.
its all worked fine except now the screen randomly flickers (mainly during heavy qraphical processes such as opening/closing apps.. is this just due to 4.2.1?

What firmware did you browse for in redsnow?

we have no problems with 4.1 have not tried 4.2 waiting for untethered

Did you enable multitasking or homescreen wallpaper? Those 2 items kind of take a toll on the 3G.

well after this i dged to 3.1.2 and made it ra1n... now the phone has completely died.. i reckon tge battery is dead
