Default None of my speakers work now
hey crew! So some time last night I realized that I couldn't hear music through the speakers. But the earphones worked fine. So I did a restore (1.0.2) and still no speakers even the one for the phone doesn't work.

    Anyone heard of this?
now I'm really happy I never unlocked, because I'm guessing i need a new phone.

plug in the earphones for a few seconds then pull them out.. repeat a few times... sometimes the unit registers the phones being in when they're not.

you sir are 100% correct! I finally figured out that's what had happened and came back to update my post as to what was happening, but you beat me to the punch.

Thanks for the reply though. And im guessing this has happened to others. I think I still might exchange it though. Seems like an annoying problem.

This happens on all MAC's. I had the same issue with my iBook. The little catch pin that closes the contacts can hang up. If it does it too often, look down in there with a small pick and see if you can find what it is hanging on.

Thanks. I hope this really isnt that ongoing due to the fact that i wont always have headphones with me to fix it. Or even a little pointy thing.

Yea I'd be annoyed. Mine has actually never done it. I've just heard that advice on these forums before! =)

My phone finally did this this morning... scared the crap outta me =/ Does anyone know if this is a unit-specific problem or will every phone do this after enough headphone use?
