Default white iPhone 3gs reboots itself

I have a white iPhone 3gs new bootrom on 4.2.1 and it was working fine. it wasnt jailbroken it was just a stock 4.2.1.

all of a sudden one day it rebooted itself, then after it started back up after about 3-5 minutes it would just reboot itself again
it didnt matter if i was using it or if i let it sit there charging.

Then i woke up in the morning and it was on the connect to itunes screen as if it need to be activated, but itunes gave me an error so i restored it to 4.2.1 but now it gives an error at the end of the restore, error 29 and it boots to the recovery logo.

i tried using tiny umbrella to kick it out of recovery but it just keeps rebooting back to the recovery logo

does anyone have any ideas about this
    Thank you

It looks like you have a hardware problem. Get a replacement if it is still under warranty.
