serious info needed
Could someone tell me how long a 3g 8gb iphone will retain its back and forth conversation through text messaging? Its very important that i know because it has evidence on it from a conversation i had from a party that is suing me.Thanks in advance.

I have saved text messages for a long long time.... and the only way they get removed is if I remove them. However if your afraid you will loose them then email them to yourself...

I believe as long as you don't delete it, it will remain. So long as you won't be restoring and setting up as new.
If this is vital information that needs to be backed up, you should look into backing it up elsewhere too. I'm not sure if there is anything that could transfer SMS, but just a suggestion maybe take screenshots of your convo and email the pictures to yourself. You never know when something can go wrong, best to have important things saved in more than one place.

Once you capture the screen or screens you want then look in your Photos... then tap on each photo you want to email yourself and put your email address in and tap send.... then check your email on your computer and then you will get them so you can back them up.

You have to transfer pictures to Windows XP from the iPhone by treating the iPhone like any other digital camera that you could hook to your computer.
Connect your iPhone to your computer. From the Start menu, select All Programs, then Accessories, then Scanner and Camera Wizard. Your iPhone should then show up as one of the available devices. Select it and you'll get taken to the wizard that walks you through the setup. Once this is configured, you can then transfer your photos from your iPhone to Windows XP.

Don't worry about it sweetie.. I get like that at times to! lol OK..... when you tap on the message icon on your phone which is your messages when you do this if you are in a message you will see the keyboard if you are going to type a text... however if you look at the left upper corner of your screen at this time you will see messages.. tap on that.. it will then take you to the list of people that has text you.... then go back into the message that you want to capture....
